Get started with AX Protocol
Install the plugin, describe your business and check that everything works. Choose how you want to get started.
Install it myself
Download and activate
Download the ZIP. In WordPress, open Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP, install and activate. If AX is already installed, update the existing installation.
Download the free pluginDescribe your business
Open AX Protocol → Settings → Organisation. Enter your business name, a short description, website URL and business contact details intended for publication. Save your changes.
Choose public content
Under Published documents, choose the catalogue sources you want: public pages, posts or products. Do not include internal information. Review the access policy and choose what suits your business.
Check your setup
Open Agent traffic and review the AX Score and any items requiring attention. Open the four verification URLs below, then check your home page and an inner page to confirm the human website still looks and works normally.
Have a Pro licence?
Under AX Protocol → Settings → Licence, enter the key you received, save and run a new licence check. Verification requires a connection to rainz.ai through AX Network; enable it only by choice. Confirm the licence is active and bound to the correct domain. Free installations do not need a key.
How do you know it works?
Replace example.com with your domain. The documents should load, the manifest should describe the right business and the conformance check should explain anything still missing. HTTP 200 alone is not enough: check the content and media type too.

Seeing a 404 or stale information?
Save your permalink settings again without changing the existing structure, and clear the relevant cache if needed. If only /.well-known/ fails, your host may handle that path before WordPress. Send support the URL, error and conformance result. Do not change your URL structure or create manual manifest files.
